We understand that sometimes things come up and sometimes you need to cancel a reservation.

To make it easy for you, we’ve outlined our guidelines for cancellations as follows:

  1. Cancellations at least 24 hours before the event qualify for a total refund
  2. Cancellations within 24 hours of an event are not eligible for a refund

If you would like to cancel your reservation, please send us an email at support@cooktocasa.com.

 

The cook will review your order and any special requests and will decide if they can accept it.  We encourage the cooks to respond as quickly as possible.  If there are any price adjustments due to special requests, they will let you know and you can decide if you want to continue.  Any questions and answers can occur within our messaging tool.  You should also work out any delivery details with the cook at this time.

You can expect to receive communication from your host within 24 hours of your reservation being made, if not earlier. If 24 hours go by without a response, the reservation will automatically be cancelled and the cook’s account will be suspended.

The best way is to read about the cook’s biography, cooking style, and ingredient sourcing.  Then look at their pictures and read their reviews.

Plus, you can always use the instant message system to ask any questions.

Check your cook’s listing to see what their cancellation policy is.
